He chose to defer his compensation for the monetary year 2020-21 in June 2020 and got no compensation for the monetary year 2021-22 also. During these two years, Chairman and MD Mukesh Ambani got no monetary stipends, advance offers or annuity benefits from Ambani Reliance Industries.
